I want one.
I was going through my bands Facebook page just now and saw the most recent post that page was tagged in was someone from mid-ish USA. He had made a post on his Facebook about three new bands that he has been listening to and a short description of them. This is the first time I have witnessed a complete stranger talk about my band as if it was in the same league as any other band you could think of. It was such a simple gesture that he probably didn’t even know he was making, but it left me with such a strange (good strange) feeling. I don’t know how I describe it, but I hope everyone who’s in a band that is serious about it and pours themselves into it experiences it some day.
Another great thing that happened is I was at an HMV today and witnessed another completely random person buy my bands EP. I don’t know who it was, but I just want to say thanks for being awesome, and I hope you dig what you heard when you listened to it.
